Join Sierra Club Great Lakes, MI Rain Barrel and Detroit Riverfront Conservancy for Rain Barrels on the Riverfront! This year we are returning to our original hands on in-person workshop, where we build the rain barrel together! The event will take place on Sunday, April 27th from 12:30pm - 3:00pm at Gabriel Richard Park (7130 E. Jefferson Detroit, MI 48207). Registration is at 12:30 event begins at 1:00pm. Paint Your Rain Barrel is at 2:00pm (at the end of the workshop) you can paint your rain barrel with safe non-toxic paints and brushes, this is free of charge and fun! Assistance and painting materials provided by mirainbarrel.
