Join Sierra Club Great Lakes, MI Rain Barrel and Detroit Riverfront Conservancy for Rain Barrels on the Riverfront! This year we are returning to our original hands on in-person workshop, where we build the rain barrel together! The event will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Gabriel Richard Park (7130 E Jefferson Detroit, MI 48207). Registration is at 9:30 event begins at 10:00am. Paint Your Rain Barrel is at 11:30am (at the end of the workshop) you can paint your rain barrel with safe non-toxic paints and brushes, this is free of charge and fun! Assistance and painting materials provided by mirainbarrel.
